Shalom everyone,
In light of the current challenges facing the Jesus Cares 2020 Community Kitchen, I believe it is important that we commit everything into the hands of God while we continue to navigate the logistics using the wisdom, knowledge, and resources He has entrusted to us.
At the same time, we must remain spiritually grounded and intentional, standing firm against every challenge, not relying on human strength alone, but on our spiritual weapons through prayer.
With this in mind, I would like to invite all kitchen board members and those available to join us for a monthly prayer gathering on the last Friday of each month, from 6–7:30 p.m. This will be a time for us to come together in unity, seek God’s guidance, and intercede for the work ahead.
Participation options
- Online: Request a link to the Zoom videoconference session for the meeting
- In person: For those nearby, you are welcome to join us at the kitchen (610 Wilson St., Santa Rosa)
Each month, we may also incorporate a specific prayer theme based on what we discern or observe in our work and community.
I strongly encourage everyone to participate as you are able. Your presence and prayers are deeply valued. Please feel free to share any thoughts, suggestions, or input.
Let us continue to labor faithfully in the Lord’s field, remembering that the One who rewards is the Lord. May we remain good stewards of all that has been entrusted into our hands and may the Lord be glorified in all we do, in the name of our Master, Yeshua HaMashiach. Amen.
