The LORD’s appointed times are based from the beginning of each lunar month. Learn more about the biblical basis for the monthly reminder of the New Moon.
Hallel Fellowship gathers for a time of Scripture and prayer at the beginning of each Hebrew month.
Month of forgiveness: A tradition calls for the sixth month (aka Elul) to start a 40-day period of teshuvah (repentance/turn) leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). This can be a time of reflection and seeking reconciliation for wrongs not forgiven. Recent tradition calls for reading Psalm 27 daily and reflection on the 13 attributes of Adonai in Exodus 34:6-7 in the last week.
This month, the meeting is held via Zoom videoconferencing. To join in by computer or phone, contact jeff@hallel.info.
