On eating unleavened bread and Yeshua the firstborn — getting the ‘sincerity and truth’ of Heaven

Matzah is the culinary focus of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and we eat it every day for seven days. That’s the physical reality of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. However, if we aren’t careful, we can miss the spiritual reality of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Just as matzah’s simple mixture of flour and water (with no salt, leavening or seasonings added) is a “back to basics” food, on a spiritual level, God is calling us to get back to the basics of sincerity and truth in our spiritual life, too. If we miss out on sincerity and truth, all we get out of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is constipation.

Thought Questions

Texts: Gen. 49:3; Ex.13:3-15; I Cor. 10:1-3; Col. 1:13; John 5:24-29

Whose sincerity and truth do we want?

Where does truth come from?

What happens when God gives you His truth?

What is the process of sanctification?

What does the word “first born” mean?

Who is the true First Born?

Did Adam fulfill the function of the first born?

What is “early fruit”?

What is the Omer?

What happened when Egypt lost their first born?

Was manna the unleavened bread?

Where are you going to be when this is completed?

What will be banned from God’s kingdom?

Why are the fearful banned from the kingdom?

Why did you get baptized?

Did the people of Israel want to go though the Red Sea?

How do we justify our weakness?

Is God sincere about your life?

What does God want to give you?

How is Easter Sunday a mockery of God?

Who was the first human being called “righteous”?

Who was he first human being murdered?

When was he wave sheaf offered?

How do we become perfect in God’s eyes?

Yours web-site seems interesting though you seem to avoid the matter of doctrine. St. Paul speaks about sound doctrine
1 Tim.1v10 ; Titus 1v9.

Being a keeper of the Sabbath (Saturday) and cerebrate the Passover and the other Festival of the Lord (Lev.23) I come under the category of a Netzarim.

This prophetic excitement about the tetrad moons seems dubious to me as the timing seems out. This is because people forget that the Hebrew night precedes the day.

Your comments most welcome so please contact me.

Brother John,

The sound doctrine we proclaim is what the Holy One and the servants of the Almighty already have proclaimed. Thus, we strive to not place ourselves in the way of their words, binding or loosening the words of God unwarrantedly.

So in that vein, we avoid “tickling the ears” with shaky teachings du jour, whether it be the assertion that the primary starting point for the day in Scripture is morning, rather than evening as in Genesis 1, or that “blood moons” precede the Tribulation, rather than follow it.

May His shalom reign in your home,

Jeff
