These monthly meetings the second Sunday evening of the month are intended to discuss what's working and not at Hallel Fellowship, and where we're headed next. The goal is to have a meeting agenda out a week before, so you can pray over the items. The LORD's appointed times are based from the beginning of each lunar month. Learn more about the biblical basis for the monthly reminder of the New Moon. Hallel Fellowship gathers for a time of Scripture and prayer at the beginning of each Hebrew month. Month of forgiveness: A tradition calls for the sixth month (aka Elul) to start a 40-day period of teshuvah (repentance/turn) leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). This can be a time of reflection and seeking reconciliation for wrongs not forgiven. Recent tradition calls for reading Psalm 27 daily and reflection on the 13 attributes of Adonai in Exodus 34:6-7 in the last week.
