    Weekly Bible study
    Tuesday, September 3, 2024
    7:00 pm–8:00 pm
We'll be using as a guide for this study of the Epistle to the Galatians an in-depth commentary by Tim Hegg, president and instructor at TorahResource Institute. This work "shows that Paul was not speaking against the Torah but upholding it as God’s eternal revelation to His people. Tim Hegg approaches the book with the starting point that Paul is preaching and teaching Torah observance for believers in Yeshua the Messiah." Rosh Chodesh (New Moon): 6th month online services
    Tuesday, September 3, 2024
    7:00 pm–8:00 pm
The LORD's appointed times are based from the beginning of each lunar month. Learn more about the biblical basis for the monthly reminder of the New Moon. Hallel Fellowship gathers for a time of Scripture and prayer at the beginning of each Hebrew month. Month of forgiveness: A tradition calls for the sixth month (aka Elul) to start a 40-day period of teshuvah (repentance/turn) leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). This can be a time of reflection and seeking reconciliation for wrongs not forgiven. Recent tradition calls for reading Psalm 27 daily and reflection on the 13 attributes of Adonai in Exodus 34:6-7 in the last week. Learn more about Rosh Chodesh: https://hallel.info/newmoon

    7:00 pm–8:00 pm
These monthly meetings the second Sunday evening of the month are intended to discuss what's working and not at Hallel Fellowship, and where we're headed next. The goal is to have a meeting agenda out a week before, so you can pray over the items. The Zoom meeting link and call-in details are the same as those used for the weekly Bible study (see the About Us tab on the Hallel smartphone app). This week’s Torah reading

    • Readings: April 11, 2026
Wholehearted worship and inner transformation. Leviticus 3 details Israel’s peace offerings as relational fellowship with God, not empty ritual. Parallel passage Isaiah 43:21–28 stresses Israel was created to praise God yet drifted into sin, though He graciously forgives. Parallel passage James 1:13–15 clarifies that temptation arises from human desire, and that calls for obedient discernment and action. Together, they point to Messiah-shaped repentance over mere outward religion.
