The LORD's appointed times are based from the beginning of each lunar month. Learn more about the biblical basis for the monthly reminder of the New Moon. Hallel Fellowship gathers for a time of Scripture and prayer at the beginning of each Hebrew month. Month of forgiveness: A tradition calls for the sixth month (aka Elul) to start a 40-day period of teshuvah (repentance/turn) leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). This can be a time of reflection and seeking reconciliation for wrongs not forgiven. These monthly meetings the second Sunday evening of the month are intended to discuss what's working and not at Hallel Fellowship, and where we're headed next.
