This week’s Torah reading
- Readings: Oct. 10, 2026In Num 3:14-4:16, God counts and assigns the Levites work around His dwelling, showing that holiness, service and responsibility belong together. Parallel passage Isaiah 43:8–13 reminds Israel that Adonai alone is God and calls His people to be His witnesses. Paul in Ephesians 4:11–16 then shows how Messiah gives different ministries to equip one body toward maturity. Together, the passages teach that redeemed people have distinct roles, shared truth and one purpose: representing God to a world that desperately needs Him.
