This week’s Torah reading
- Readings: Oct. 17, 2026What happens when sinful people encounter God’s holiness? Numbers 4 warns the Levites against approaching sacred things carelessly, while 1Samuel 6 shows Israel receiving the Ark with sacrifices and rejoicing. Yet holiness demands more than enthusiasm; it requires reverence and obedience. Hebrews 9 reveals the ultimate hope: Yeshua, our heavenly High Priest, offered Himself once for sin and will return to complete our salvation.
