    Weekly Bible study
    Tuesday, April 2, 2024
    6:30 pm–8:00 pm
We'll be using as a guide for this study of the Epistle to the Galatians an in-depth commentary by Tim Hegg, president and instructor at TorahResource Institute. This work "shows that Paul was not speaking against the Torah but upholding it as God’s eternal revelation to His people. Tim Hegg approaches the book with the starting point that Paul is preaching and teaching Torah observance for believers in Yeshua the Messiah." Rosh Chodesh (New Moon): 1st month online services
    Monday, April 8, 2024
    7:00 pm–8:00 pm
The LORD's appointed times are based from the beginning of each lunar month, called Rosh Chodesh (Hebrew for "head of the month" or "new moon"). Hallel Fellowship gathers for a time of Scripture and prayer at the beginning of each month of Israel. “This month [Abib, Ex. 13:4] shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.” (Ex. 12:2) This Rosh Chodesh is a special one, as it starts the countdown to Pesakh (Passover, https://hallel.info/passover), which comes on the evening of the 14th day of the first month. This month, the meeting is held via Zoom videoconferencing. To join in by computer or phone, contact jeff@hallel.info . Pesakh (Passover) celebration
    Monday, April 22, 2024
    6:00 pm–8:30 pm
Pesakh (Passover) is an annual biblical celebration of Heaven's miraculous deliverance of Israel from the "house of bondage" (Mitzraim/Egypt). It's commemorated on the evening of the 14th day of Israel's first month, which in 2024 is on April 22. For believers in Yeshua as Messiah (Jesus as Christ), the date also is the same, the Gospels record, as the crucifixion of Yeshua — Heaven's plan for freeing humanity fully from bondage to a life lived apart from the Creator of all. Reserve your spots at the celebration: https://hallel.info/passover24 Help us reduce the cost of the event: https://hallel.info/donate Here are some Bible studies on the enduring lessons of Pesakh: https://hallel.info/passover/

Firstfruits & Yeshua's resurrection online celebration
    Tuesday, April 23, 2024
    7:30 pm–8:00 pm
The resurrection of Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) from the dead is connected with the Bible annual memorials of Passover, Unleavened Bread and Pentecost in both timing and theme. So much so that apostle Paul in 1Cor. 15:20, 23 referred to Yeshua as the "first fruits" of the dead. So on this day, the 16th day of Israel's first month, we celebrate the resurrection of Yeshua and our hope of new life through Him. Event details: https://hallel.info/events/firstfruits-2024/

    This week’s Torah reading

    • Torah reading Emor (אמר): Leviticus 21–24
The Creator of all that is reveals how different He is from the creation. YHWH’s servants, the priesthood, are called to be different from the world that lives as if the Creator isn’t in control, and the priests are to show the better way — the Way of YHWH. That’s the message of אָמַר Emor (“say,” Leviticus 21-24), a Bible reading that includes teachings from YHWH about special anniversaries, annual reminders of what the Creator is doing, particularly through the Word of YHWH made human — Yeshua haMashiakh, or Jesus the Christ.
