It is a very important topic because there are many Christians who believe they will be going to Heaven to reign with the Father, but Scripture tells us that this kingdom will be on Earth. Sukkot day 2 — There are more than 7 billion souls on earth now, yet only a very, very small number are keeping the Festivals of God. Why did God call you to this truth? Because you’re so special? Because of your righteousness? No. It’s because God is in charge.
Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the sovereignty of God. He is sovereign is His power, delegation of that power to others, love and mercy, which was displayed when God “tabernacled” with mankind in the flesh of Yeshua the Messiah.
The solid, straightforward, Biblical foundation is that death is the total absence of life, that there is no part of a person that “goes to heaven” when he dies and that the dead are actually dead and sleeping in Sheol until Christ’s appearing. We now turn our attention to some sections of Scripture commonly misconstrued to indicate otherwise. Let’s remember that they must harmonize with those parts of God’s Word.
God requires us to “bear fruit.” This is not optional. Yeshua got so angry at the Pharisees because of their failure to produce righteousness that he said God would give the kingdom of God to another nation that produces it.
